As soon as I met Amber, I told her I watched her movie, "Chance", three times the first day I got it (which is a true story, of course). She proceeded to put her hands on her face and she said she hoped the language didn't offend me in any way. I told her I was shocked, but I quickly got over it. I then had her sign my "Once More, With Feeling" poster... "To Anthony: I'm Under Your Spell". We then posed for a picture and I told her about meeting Adam Busch the previous month and we talked about Common Rotation for a brief minute. I told her I wanted to get a Common Rotation Living Room Show and she then shouted at me saying "addict! addict!"... it was very funny. I then went back to meet her the second day of the three day event and I asked her a favor. I asked if she could sign three autographs for Erica, Michelle and Katie... she replied, "sure, easy as pie". I then told her, "I forgot to tell you yesterday that it was my 21st birthday and I couldn't have spent it in a better way". Amber then went "awwww, here give me a hug!". So I got my Amber Benson Birthday Hug. Thank you.
Meeting Joss Whedon was an amazing experience... meeting the guy who is the reason behind my obsession. I had him sign my "Once More, With Feeling" poster as well and I got my picture with him. I didn't have much time to say anything to him because the line had to keep moving. I was also at his Question & Answer session... and I was able to ask him something. I was maybe the fourth question into the session and I asked "can you do the Dance of Honor for us?". Great crowd reaction. He then said he could do a dance, The Dance of Exhaustion... "a very short dance". He then stretched a little and rubbed his hands together and then dropped to the floor in an instant making a loud thud and getting everyone clapping and cheering. He struggled back up to the podium, and as things became quiet, I said, "thats good enough". GREAT EXPERIENCE. On the third day of the convention, I sat in on the X-Men Reloaded Panel (including Joss). I sat in the first row directly in front of him. He was hilarious, as usual. I kept myself from taking a bunch of photos because I did not want to blind him like the other people were doing in the front row.
When I met Kevin, I told him that I saw "Jersey Girl" on back to back nights. He thanked me for that. I then got a picture with him. He then pointed to Tara on my Buffy Shirt and said, "isn't that the chick that is signing over there?", I said, "Yeah". I then met Jason. I kept it short and simply thanked him and asked for a photo. I got my Clerks Jay & Silent Bob figures autographed.
Scott was a NICE GUY! He talked for awhile, just about his work and the convention and everything. I got his autograph as well as a picture. He was sitting down the entire time while we talked, but when he stood up to take the picture, I was amazed at how big this guy is.
Glenn is the man. Meeting him was a great time. I was unaware that he did the voice of "The Mayor" in "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (one of my favorite movies).
